For the benefit of new parents there is only one criterion for membership into the association, i.e. that you are a parent/guardian of a child attending our school. The Tallanstown National School Parents' Association is registered with the "National Parents Council" and we as a committee utilise it as a guidance source throughout the year. The council's website of www.npc.ie is a useful tool for any parent.
The aim of the parents' association is to enhance the educational experience of our children through a partnership approach involving children, parents, staff and Board of Management. We have tried to achieve this aim by being involved in a number of activities during the year.
