For the benefit of new parents there is only one criterion for membership into the association, i.e. that you are a parent/guardian of a child attending our school.  The Tallanstown National School Parents' Association is registered with the "National Parents Council" and we as a committee utilise it as a guidance source throughout the year. The council's website of is a useful tool for any parent.

The aim of the parents' association is to enhance the educational experience of our children through a partnership approach involving children, parents, staff and Board of Management.  We have tried to achieve this aim by being involved in a number of activities during the year.

Through our fundraising we are able to positively respond to teachers requests during the year. We also subsidise swimming costs for parents and contribute to the children’s Sports Day.
